Message from the General Chaircouple of ICBDA Convention 34 The first thing I would like to do is to thank the General Chaircouple of ICBDA 33, Dave & Barb Vangunten and their staff for a great ICBDA convention in Joplin. You did a great job. Thank you one and all. As the next chaircouple of ICBDA Convention 34 in 2010 we would like to personally invite you and your fellow dancers to the convention in San Antonio, Texas. With our staff in place, we are striving to give you the best and most enjoyable round dance event ever. We will have 3 teaching halls for clinics and workshops along with 2 ballrooms. All the ballrooms have beautiful wood floors for everyone’s dancing pleasure. One evening ballroom will be Phase 4-56 with the normal assigned percentages of dances that follow the ICBDA Convention Guidelines. The second evening

ballroom will consist of Phase 3-4-5 with emphasis at the Phase 4 level. There will be Clinic-Workshops scheduled for the Phase 4, Phase 5 & Phase 6 levels. What more could you ask for!?! After we have received your registration for the 2010 ICBDA Convention we will send you a request to submit a list of 10 to 15 of your favorite dances to the Evening Program Chaircouple. Please include the choreographer and the phase level to make this task a little easier for them. Your submissions will assist us in creating YOUR evening dance program. As with all major events there is a vast amount of work involved in making any Convention a success. As Chaircouple of the 34th ICBDA Convention we can always use your help. If you would like to serve on a committee please feel free to contact us. Be part of this GREAT
